"Colors" reflects his personality, while "Fly" & "Mellow" speaks volumes about appreciating gifts from God, and a spiritual place you can go to without the 'drama'. "Don't Botha Me No Mo" talks about so-called friends, and people who want to be like you and have what you have, but don't want to work for it or pay their 'dues' to obtain it. "Cautious", and "Jumpin To Conclusions" talks about relationships. "Something" the title track is a haunting heartfelt song that anyone can identify with, when you think you know someone, it turns out you really don't know them at all. "Jammin" is a smooth jazz instrumental, that is just right for just 'cruisin'. These cuts are a reflection of life, and Mr. Parker hopes that you enjoy listening to them as much as he enjoyed creating them.
