Big Sur is a folk rock band operating both out of Seattle and Bellingham, playing sweet sad Americana songs, telling stories about pills, murder, Indians, lovers, and the ocean, with a sometimes awkward sense of humor. Their dark and haunting folk songs have been described as “circus, train smoke, indie-folk.”
