First collaborating back in 1998 for an album entitled 'Sensual Assassins', Bernadette Cremin and Paul Mex once again team-up for the 2015 release, 'Guilty Fist', whereby Cremin recites everyday underbelly tales of the habitual, yet bizarre humankind, over Mex’s hypnotic, often blue musical soundscapes. In a world ago, Bernadette Cremin worked as a social worker, a tea lady, sociology lecturer, TEFL teacher, bank clerk and an absolutely hopeless waitress. Due to choice and circumstance, she moved to Brighton in 1996 to drink petrol. Amongst an assortment of activity, Cremin has gone onto win a Year Of The Artist Award, a performance poetry bursary, represented Brighton in national slams and had books published in the UK and Eire. She presently lives with an eclectic CD collection and a nosey neighbour who thinks that poetry is for snobs and drop-outs! Paul Mex emerged from the late 70s British punk scene as a musician, releasing numerous cult cuts along the way. In the 80s he moved into music production and under that guise has been involved in an odd bunch of recordings, ranging from comic legend Frankie Howerd, to George Michael, with some Robert Wyatt thrown in for good measure. Mex also regularly masquerades as a music broadcaster, dabbling with radio and television appearances. He has a belligerent yet adorable cat that loves cartoons and thinks she’s a bear! 'Guilty Fist' also features a guest appearance from Porcupine Tree's Colin Edwin, and former Guy Chambers protégé, Louise Flenley.
