Founded in 2010, Rivertree Singers is a choral ensemble of young professionals who love living and working in Greenville, SC. Rivertree Singers recently appeared at the Southern Division ACDA conventions in 2014 and 2016 and the 2015 South Carolina ACDA Fall Conference. Rivertree Singers is also regularly featured at the Piccolo Spoleto Festival Spotlight Series in Charleston, SC. This recording is the concert performance from the 3rd annual Rivertree Singers & Friends Choral Festival. 150 additional singers from across the US and 5 other countries joined the 40-voice Rivertree Singers for 3 days to prepare and perform the southeast premiere of Dan Forrest’s Jubilate Deo, a marvelous, culture-spanning setting of Psalm 100 that includes 8 languages across 7 movements. Rivertree Singers was privileged to enjoy Forrest’s assistance in preparing the second-ever performance of this major work.
