Richard Santana aka DJ Speedy started his DJ career at the age of 15 at Xenon in Portugal and went on to his first residency at Greens Nightclub the following year. It was in South Africa performing for big events such as Mother and ICE Productions that he was discovered by promoter and organizer Peter White and his DJ career took off. In March 1999 he won the prestigious South African DJ of the year competition. With both local and international judges, the competition included some of South Africas finest DJs, playing to an audience of 6000 people. DJ Speedy continued to surprise his fans and was honored as DJ of the year for two consecutive years, accepting the Peoples Crystal Awards for best DJ in 2000. In 2005 he entered the DJ MAG Top 250 at number 241. This is Richards debut release on Ultrachic Music and is sure to be a hit with the Techno community as 'That sound' is a monster !
