Tommy Stewart is mostly known for thrash metal band Hallows Eve (Metal Blade Records), doom metal band Bludy Gyres, and his solo work. The album, entitled 'Clef Doom' (2015), is a solo work featuring bass and is uniquely recorded using only basses, vocals, and drums. Though the album could easily be described as doom metal, it has cinematic, atmospheric feel and the main songs are interspersed with three small pieces that feature only bass. Check out the first song, "Prince of Fools", for a good idea of what to expect from 'Clef Doom'.
