Synthetic Dreams was written and recorded between 2010 and 2012, and released in 2014. With the exception of Non-Duality, all songs on the album were improvised and recorded in a single take using guitar, effects, and live looping. Digital effects were added later to cultivate the ethereal, dreamlike atmosphere present throughout the album.
