A normal studio session, although no sessions are anything close to normal, consist of an review of the overall feeling of the people in the studio. Feelings of what that day may have brought usually drive the intense studio session. As i began to cook up instrumentals and beats from scratch, my artist get a vibe of what direction they want to go. Once locked in on the vibe and vision, i lay the hook down, and my artist proceed to write their verse accordingly.
