Chasing Butterflies connects some meandering dots. In 35 years of Eddie's writing songs, lots of words and notes have spilled out onto expectant pages and bounced off of unsuspecting walls. The songs picked for this album, come from Eddie’s years working in Maine, his near perennial treks hiking the southern half of the Appalachian Trail and a year in New York City studying acting and directing while working in the city as a pharmacist. It also covers years of Eddie and Frank working together on films from New England to Los Angeles. A couple of these songs were even recorded live during a musical tour in the United Kingdom. “No,” the path of this album does not walk a straight line, but if you stand on the right hilltop, it should offer an interesting view.
