Ty's musical journey started early in his life singing in his church choir but his love for jazz and soul music led him to eventually co-write and perform with smooth jazz saxophonist Najee. That experience influenced him to start his own solo career which he still continues today. All of Causey's music is totally original, written arranged,produced and performed by himself on his record label Tyvonn Records.
