Founded in 1993 by Tim McLoone, Holiday Express is a not-for-profit, non-sectarian charity comprised of more than 100 volunteer musicians and 1600 other volunteers. Each year from Thanksgiving to Christmas, Holiday Express travels to more than 50 locations and creates a holiday event for people who live challenging lives in challenging environments. The venues include soup kitchen, homeless shelters, developmental centers, and schools, group homes and programs for the physically and mentally disabled. This CD represents a sampling of the music performed by our talented volunteer musicians at the events they visit.
