For our 47th offering, we welcome label newcomers Weird Sounding Dude and Xabiso who take on remixing duties for Weston & Engine's 'Complexions' EP. Based in Bangalore and with previous releases on 3rd Avenue, Juicebox Music, and Sudbeat, Weird Sounding Dude wastes no time with his remix of Weston & Engine's, 'Above Or Below The Centre feat. Guy Herman. Starting things off with a propulsive groove that will draw you into the track before dropping into the rolling bassline. The bassline becomes the core of the rework accompanied by Weird Sounding Dude's trademark atmospheric elements and rhythms throughout. Next up we bring it home with South African born producer, Xabiso. Having previously released on, If You Wait Music and Holy Grail Music, we enlisted Xabiso to add his progressive take on the Weston & Engine's, 'Not The Ending'. Xabiso fills the remix with space-like elements, giving you the feeling that you're traveling through the universe at intergalactic speeds. The big brooding bassline and effects drive the remix into never-ending space, ending off the EP with satisfaction and grace.
