Hi and thank you for viewing my new release. This CD is my second release and takes me through a growing point in my life. Newfound wisdom seems to flow through on this album. The song Walking Contradiction is a hot reggaeton track, inspired by numerous people in the industry who said my first CD contained too many styles. Therefore, I titled my first album Different Sides of Me. I thought the title would explain what they were about to listen to and show my diversity as an artist: not confuse them. In the end, I was very pleased with the work I did. This CD however, is more rock and really, gets down to how I feel as an artist. People tell me this entire CD is good to listen to and just refreshing. You don’t get tired of listening because each track offers the listener something different and fresh while still being easy on the ears. People ask me what my style is and it is so hard for me to put it in words. I’d have to say I’m a young woman who realizes that music from the past use to grab the listener. The words use to touch people’s lives and often inspire them: the melodies and the arrangements use to set a mood for people. Music was meant to be more than something to bob your head to and with the current state of the industry, I decided to go with my heart and listen to the record buyers who said there “are no well written songs out there anymore”. Therefore, my style is to put meaningful and well-written songs to all types of music. To me it really doesn’t matter what genre of music I'm singing as long as it is a good song. I love good music and don't see why I should limit myself to a style. With all that said, the cd also supports the National Association of Anorexia Nervosa and Associated Disorders (ANAD). Eating disorders are a serious illness and a subject that’s near and dear to my heart due to the struggles of a close friend of mine. Therefore, I'm donating a portion of cd sales to ANAD. So take a listen to track 6 and purchase it wherever you can and help out a great cause. I wish I could tell you what the best song is, but everybody seems to have his or her favorite.
