The concept for this album was born in 2006. Unsure of which direction it would take, "Evil cannot touch me" was written in the land of "live free or die" during that summer, and was later recorded at Anchor Recording Studio in Kingston, Jamaica. The lyrics for "Run Come" took shape in January 2007. Within a few days, the hook and first verse came alive while the artiste drove to and from his 9 to 5 in New Hampshire’s winter. Soon after, it was recorded in Medford Massachusetts and later the featured artiste completed the track at Anchor Recording Studio in Kingston, Jamaica. "Love Fire" and "Step Up" were written in June 2008 while Eloquence spent time with his Mother and siblings in Waterford St. Catherine(Jamaica). Both song were recorded during a single studio session. It had been over a year since the artiste had recorded in Jamaica and he was enthused about these two positive songs. He felt empowered, being able to vibrantly deliver this message of love and the reminder to be persistent in order to be successful. “Wine”, recorded in September 2008 also at Anchor, was written approximately three years before but the fitting instrumental was inspired in late August of 2008. The Island beat and the hard hitting vocals in “wine” is the artistes way of representing the Caribbean’s dancehall/calypso culture. This track gives fans another glimpse of Eloquence ability to be creative and versatile. The featured artiste gives the listener a hint of the energy that is present in popular dancehall sessions. The man behind the mixing board for the project was Veteran Engineer Delroy "Fatta" Pottinger who has engineered and mixed the vocals of stellar acts like Sly and Robbie, Sizzla, Anthony B, Beres Hammond, Morgan's Heritage, The Fugees and Beenie Man just to name a few. This Mini-Studio Album is very listener friendly and was compiled deliberately without explicit content for your general listening pleasure.
