dennis has been crafting songs in the privacy of his home for thirty years, rarely performing in public, and not going into a studio until October of 2000 when his first CD, SOMEDAY - SONGS OF DOUBT AND FAITH, was created. Shortly thereafter, in March of 2001, the handcrafted house that he and his wife of twenty four years had built through a period of several years burned to the ground, the kind of thing that makes a person stop and think. THIS LITTLE LIGHT, the second CD, was recorded in the months following the fire, and documents the journey of faith that began with SOMEDAY. "Singing and playing music for people are my way of giving thanks to my Creator for having made me, given me music as a kind of gift, and having allowed me to travel through this amazing world as i have this far," is about all dennis will offer in the way of explanation or analysis of his songs. Plans for the future include at least two more CD's, one that will be predominantly country-influenced, and one that will lean more toward the quirky folk/jazz feel that is his favorite mode of musical expression.
