Identical twins, this striking twosome blends Americana, Country, Celtic, Blues, and Bluegrass music; creating a unique acoustic sound with unbeatable vocals. With a focus and determination that are rare in young artists, the Mickeys have accomplished some amazing feats in their career. They formed their own record label (RiverBeat Music), co-produced (with John Albani) and recorded their first CD, Finding Our Way, and secured nationwide distribution (Select-O-Hits) for the record, without any assistance. The sisters co-wrote five of the project's eleven tracks and performed all vocals. Finding Our Way was Chapter One in the book of dreams for Amy and Julie Mickey. "We both love our music and we love each other," says Amy. "We believe we can do this and do it with integrity." Now, with the release of their second CD, Walk Along, the twins are excited to see what lies ahead on their musical path. The sisters co-wrote nine of the eleven tracks and performed all vocals. This sequel offering features the same breathtaking harmonies as their debut, with an added depth to the lyrical content. “As we grow as people, our songwriting abilities will also grow.
