Sonoma County Covers Project (Explicit)

In the Summer of 2013, my bride and I attended a concert at the Occidental Center For The Arts. It was up-and coming David Luning sharing the bill with been-round-awhile Greg Abel. Each singer-songwriter did a set of originals, then they teamed up for the finale. They performed one of my favorite songs, Greg's "Last Call Dance Hall"; Greg and David each sang a verse. When David sang, the song had a different feel; a unique vibe. It was that night that the Sonoma County Covers Project gestated in my old dome. I will assemble musical pals and ask them to pay tribute to an influential songwriter from the area by recording a cover song. The response was humbling: Everybody wanted to contribute a tune. Assembling the music was a challenge. My plan was to cut it off at about 15 songs. One CD, not too long. Well, guess what happened? The songs kept coming and the project kept expanding.
