I\'m just a country girl from eastern KY. I was born & raised here by my grandparents. I learned a ot about life & God from them. I\'ve traveled allot in my time. I\'ve almost been in every state in the USA except for a few exceptions. Too many to write. I did this album with Juanita Ford from Maine. Can you imagine her & I clicking the way we do - with her there in the city & I in the country. But she\'s as honest & just as country as I am, I thank God I met her. This is my first Christmas cd ever & hers too. We wrote all songs some with other songwriters. I\'ve been writing since I was 13 - like little poems & diddys at the end of my letters to my mom & cards I\'d send my family. They thought that was something else. They couldn\'t believe I did it. I was shy then I didn\'t talk much I guess that\'s why I wrote so much. Many nights I\'d lay with my pen & paper staring out at the sky thinking of what I was going to write. Thoughts would be racing through my mind. One night at my uncle\'s house I wrote one called \"Star Soul Searching\" it was published by a national library of poetry. I\'ve won several awards for it, plus a few years back I did one called \"Goodbye my dear friend\". It was based on losing so many loved ones in a row. It was a sad time in my life. Lots of family were dying so fast. The poem, I guess, was my way of saying goodbye to all my friends & family. If you go to poetry.com & type in judith greer edwars you\'ll find those two poems. I\'ve had them published in two different books. You can also order those books from there. I\'ve won several awards for that poem too & allot of my songs. Some $$$$$ but not what i got put into them. But really i\'m not expecting to get rich but i\' like to pay all my bills with it. Thats not happen yet. Still waiing for my ship to come in. I really want to share my thoughts from my heart with you. It\'s a part of me that I choose to share. I thank god everyday for my talent & for making it possibe for me to meet all these writers & record co\'s & demo places. If it werent for god\'s blessing i wouldn\'t have the talent i got.
