简介
Patrick O’Malley has been writing, recording, and performing music since the mid-Nineties. Starting out as a self-described “Jacques Brel of Southern California”, Patrick continues to write angsty and observational songs drawing inspiration from the folk-pop artists of the 1970s, the great crooners of the 1950s, and the vitalist philosophy or Arthur Schopenhauer (less apparent on this recording). "I greatly enjoyed recording this album," Patrick said, "I just put together a great group of musicians and tried to get a really energetic live sound. There is a little world in each one of these songs and I think I finally got the recording I want of them. I've lived with some of these for a while now."
