The Ray Condo experience is best heard on the dancefloor, which is a nice way of saying that live settings can help conceal an artist's shortcomings. Condo's an okay singer, but sometimes he comes off a bit cheesy, without giving a clear indication of his intentions. The band plays good, though, and for those who just feel like cuttin' a rug, High & Wild's got more than enough pep and swagger.
