Born and raised in Dinnington Village Newcastle Upon Tyne, Sam started playing guitar on and off at a pretty young age but never really learned anything till he was around 14 years old and as soon as he picked up a few basic chords the song writing began. Through the years he has started and joined a number of bands but for various reasons never really worked out. So now he is a solo artist recording his music and playing as many shows as possible

Sam Gibson's music has no style or genre in mind in the writting process, it has a natural blend of all the bands and artists he has ever taking insperation from. He just sits down and writes.
