There are two versions of this CD titled "Through the Storm". This version is the original from 2004 and has 11 tracks. The new versions from 2009 is also available and has these 11 tracks plus two new ones -"Mercy Street" by Peter Gabriel and "Magnolia" by Richie Havens. Both are available on CD Baby. For more than twenty years Stephanie has toured extensively in North America; more recently, she has also performed in Europe and Southeast Asia. Stephanie has presented and performed at events for the World Bank, Harvard University, United Nations, IFC, Xerox, Tiffany & Co., and Commonwealth Bank of Australia as well as at universities in the United Kingdom, Malaysia and Thailand. Her original take on listening was recently featured at both the American and British annual conferences on Servant Leadership. One of her artistic projects, "Titanic Tales: Stories of Courage and Cowardice" was co-created with her husband Duncan McCargo, the British author and academic. Part theatre, part concert and part history, Titanic Tales was a special commission by Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts and had its world premiere to a capacity house. Stephanie is known for her solo recording, Through the Storm (reissued 2009). Her TV credits include Oprah Winfrey Network, Saturday Night Live, and the 2008 Cannes Film Festival opening ceremony with Richie Havens, which was broadcast worldwide to millions. Stephanie began her cello studies in the Levittown, NY public school system and went on to graduate from the Juilliard School Pre-college Division. She holds a BFA in classical cello performance from Purchase College and a MA in music education from Columbia University.
