After releasing The Provider EP in a limited quantity of hand-painted and silk screened special edition records, GB offers this collection of three outstanding exercises in analog electronics in digital format. The title track is an uptempo workout in the vein of the classic midwest dance music of the 80s like Larry Heard and Derrick May, while "The Receiver" harkens back to a more boogie-oriented feel, complete with glistening unpredictable splashes of synths on top of a warm bass groove and evolving drum rhythm. The EP closes with "We Can See You," a futuristic unclassifiable bass heavy banger iced with warm chords and an unforgettable rhythm. Three memorable offerings from the one called Gifted and Blessed.
