Autotuna is: Josh Bittner - Vocals and Guitar Dan Hernandez - Bass Guitar Mike Spooner - Drums and Vocals You could say the story started when Josh Bittner and Mike Spooner met in 2003 and started jamming together for giggles, but the germination of Autotuna began in the summer 2007, when Mike handled engineering and production duties (as well as session drums) for Josh's solo EP. Over the next year, Josh kicked the tires on the idea for joining forces and a few demos were recorded, but not released; a blueprint for things to come, as it were. Eventually in 2009, it was decided that a 5 EP would be recorded to officially kick-start the existence of Autotuna as we know it today. However, production delays and a vocal injury to Josh derailed the project...so creative minds do what they do best - write and record more songs! Eventually, Josh and Mike met Dan Hernandez via Craigslist, of all places, in early 2011. After Moe's Southwest Grill burritos were consumed and acoustical jamming played, Dan was officially on board. Another year saw the rest of the post production processes completed. The finished product is before you, either for you to download or to be physically put in your hands in the form of a shiny plastic disc.
