DJ Steve Ra was inspired by the likes of Underground Resistance and the techno music scene in Detroit in which he embraced wholeheartedly. DJ Steve Ra also lived in Brooklyn, New York for a while being in the scene during the time of The infamous Limelight Nightclub in Manhattan taking a promotions gig there as well as The Tunnel in the mid 90's. His musical taste has gotten him some very big shows where he played techno music as well as hip hop. Some of the notable shows he performed at in front of thousands of people were at Detroit's Eastern Market with other notable well respected dee jays. Currently he resides in Michigan and produces music and continues his love of creating original remixes.

DJ Steve Ra collaborated with Spank Master Boogie to put out his best remixes and original songs. Currently the project was a definite struggle but also a "awesome time" he says to get the features with sonic electro group Yo! Majesty. his influences are Richie Hawtin, Model 500, Orlando Voorn who also worked with him co-producing songs to bring his catalog of releases to a good number. He currently just wants some great slots to spin and play music throughout the world. He appreciates deep house, techno, electronic music. He currently has a "Love & Light" group on Facebook with close to 1000 members who share there love for being positive and being unique human beings.
