The artist of the Album "My Africa" orginates from Liberia, West Africa. Lots of time, sacrifice, and energy was put into this album. Sleeping in cars on cold winter nights, traveling thousands of miles away were all part of the process. "My Africa" starts off with a Sassy, hot, modern African sound combine with calypso beats. Once the beat drops, you cannot help it but to move and rock along. It is also filled with emotions as the reggae kicks in. Some have compared the style of reggae to that of the late African reggae great Lucky Dube and that of Alpha Blondy. It is filled with positive messages. All these were based on the fact that the album was inspired by stories of children suffering around the world. For all those that have listened to the album have been very impressed with the work.
