Jake began his professional career at the age of 17, and has been playing lead guitar for various artists for the past 12+ years. In January 2014, he launched his solo career. His first single, "We'll Dance", reached #36 on the Texas Regional Radio Report, and #117 for the Top 200 of 2014. He is currently recording his first solo EP, set to release on June 23, 2015. He is the son of Rodney Pyeatt and Rena Dearman, who met while performing with Tejano pop superstar Selena Quintanilla. His dad, Rodney, has also played lead guitar for artists such as Rick Trevino, Stoney LaRue, Mike McClure, Wade Bowen, Mike Ryan, and countless other top Texas/Red Dirt artists. Jake started playing guitar at age 7 and wrote his first song at age 8. He is the middle of three brothers, who all grew up performing, writing and playing in bands together. His younger brother, Mitchell Pyeatt, is a founding member of New Braunfels-based band Midnight River Choir; and older brother Britton Pyeatt is currently touring with Stoneface Cowboys of Austin, Texas. Jake has performed on many Texas music recordings including artists Gary Kyle, MIchael Padgett, Austin Allsup, Rodney Pyeatt, Tyler James, Erick Willis, Whiskey Fish, Jaron Bell and Leland Williams. He has also co-written songs on albums such as "Welcome to Delerium¿" by Midnight River Choir; and "Sink or Swim" by Austin Allsup.
