Born in Milford, MA in 1996, Lotus Taylor was adopted and spent his childhood in Cambridge, MA. As a young teen living in the shadow of Boston, Lotus repeatedly found himself in trouble with the law and was expelled from school during his senior year. The school system wasn't speaking to him and Lotus quickly realized that if he was going to pursue his dreams of being a professional hip-hop artist, he was going to have to find his own way. ​ ​At the age of 17, Lotus released his first mixtape titled "Respectable", which caught the eyes of local artists, producers and promoters. A year later, Lotus released his second mixtape, "Re2pectable", which featured local hip-hop heavyweights Moe Pope, Tim Nihan, and Flash of N.B.S. Now 20 years-old, Lotus is ready to "Face the Music" and see just how far it takes him.
