Like a lot of creative partnerships, The Believers’ began in a bar - the Sunset Tavern in Seattle to be exact, was the place where Craig Aspen & Cyd Frazzini first met in 2001 and performed their very first show shortly after. So, it’s probably no coincidence that their third and latest album “Lucky You’ was recorded in Seattle and all of the photography was shot in that now famous watering hole & music venue. Following on the heels of 2005's wildly successful Crashyertown, this new disc from the believers effortlessly blends 1970’s pop hooks & harmonies (ala Fleetwood Mac) while keeping one foot firmly planted in American roots music (ala Gram & Emmylou).
