I have been fortunate enough to travel and perform annually in Europe over the last few years. This particular recording was from one night in Germany at one of my favorite venues - AKA 103 in Oberhausen, the home of Jellyfant Records. Part of what I feel makes this album special is that I wasn't aware that it was being recorded. So, nothing in the performance is calculated for the purpose of making it public. It is simply a genuine document of a sincere exchange in which performer and audience came together in shared humanity.

Originally this CD was made to be a limited edition pressing for sale at shows. However, in light of recent events, I have decided to also make it available online with proceeds from sales to be donated to the ACLU and Planned Parenthood. Music has the power to bring us together and to help those in need. Hopefully this album will make a small contribution to that effort.
