简介

Duette is an acoustic folk/pop band playing early pop & rock n’ roll classics, American songbook, and their own surprising originals. Their music is filled with tight irresistible harmonies accompanied by guitar, ukulele and harmonica. Band members Duane Spencer and Paulette Licitra perform frequently in Nashville at the First Center for the Visual Arts and Brown’s Diner, as well as in the Northeast at the Bitter End in NYC and Blue in Portland, Maine. Duane Spencer has collaborated with a long list of notable artists, including Van Morrison, James Taylor, Carly Simon, Felix Cavaliere, Mark Volman, Kate Taylor, John Hall, Bobby Cochran, Fred Lipsius, Roly Salley, Richard Bell, and Clark Pierson. He was a member of the legendary Martha's Vineyard acoustic band Mr. Timothy Charles Duane (aka TCD), and the soca group Target Rhythm Band. He co-wrote the lullaby "Jason and Ida" with Columbia artist Kate Taylor, featuring James Taylor on guitar and vocals, Carly Simon on vocals, and Will Lee on bass. Paulette Licitra has produced and written for television, film, and theatre and has written music for her theatrical plays “hip my heart” and “Jazzing,” which were produced for the stage in Indianapolis and NYC. She is publisher of the food literary journal “Alimentum,” and, as Chef Paulette, she makes regular appearances on Nashville’s Channel 4 “More at Midday.” The Envelope by Duette Produced by Duette: Duane Spencer and Paulette Licitra Co-Producer, Recording & Mixing Engineer: Britt Edwards Recorded and Mastered at Center Street Recording Studios, Old Hickory, TN Cover Design: Duane Spencer Cover Illustration: Paulette Licitra c 2015 by Duette 1.
