I love all kinds of music and this is reflected by the content of this album. Sure, it makes marketing more difficult, but I have never understood why anyone would only listen to one style of music or how any musician/composer could stand to write songs in the same style over and over again. So, the music on the album is very eclectic, ranging from complex instrumental pieces to simple pop/rock.

The mood is fairly dark (hence the title). I like to think that I expressed both cynicism and sincerity, sometimes at the same time. Some of the songs are melancholy, some are caustic, but there are no real "happy" songs here. There is humor and lots of energy, though.
