Having mastered several musical instruments on his own, Stoomie now works mainly in alternative hip hop, instrumental hip hop and electronica. He currently considers his greatest influences to be Dust Brothers, Dan The Automator and Jon Brion. He also looks to the works of Boards of Canada, Massive Attack, Portishead, Radiohead, Damon Albarn, Beck, Moby, Liam Lynch, Vangelis, John Lennon and Nigel Godrich for inspiration. His debut album "Two For a Tenner - Yes Please" was recorded in San Francisco, California and Buenos Aires, Argentina.
