简介
Chris Holm is an acoustic blues and folk fingerstyle guitarist and harmonica player from Minnesota. His style is rooted in the music of the American South despite his roots at the other end of the Mississippi River. Among his biggest influences are Mississippi Delta bluesmen Son House, Charley Patton, and Skip James, old time country music heroes Jimmie Rodgers, Hank Williams, and Johnny Cash, and his fellow Minnesotan folk troubadours, Bob Dylan and Charlie Parr. On his debut solo album, his father's passing and realizations of his own mortality lead Chris to spin every day tales of the emotional tides of life, whether stories of bygone eras, casting aside the burden's of life's expectations and following your hopes and dreams, and in the end, accepting your life for the journey it is.
