The Gemini 6 are three long experienced rock musicians returning to the roots of the music they love. Inspired by such modern blues/rock artists as “Government Mule" and Joe Bonamassa, two friends (Michael J Connelly and Todd Bernsdorf) decided to start a Power Trio in the tradition of "Cream," Jimi Hendrix and Rory Gallagher. Soon after their first jam sessions, Ian McDowell would round out the trio. With Connelly’s dynamic approach on guitar, McDowell’s progressive and unorthodox bass arrangements, and Bernsdorf’s ability to mix steady grooves with modern drum lines, Gemini 6 fuses the essences of rock and blues, with an occasional dash of funk.
