简介
THANK YOU I’ve said it before, and I stand by it: There is no such thing as a solo artist, because every worthwhile creative thing ever done is the culmination of the inputs and efforts of so many amazing people. First, thank you Lord, for the gift of music. Thank you for the blessing of living in the US, a country in which we are free to pursue our happiness. Thank you to my amazing kiddos: Franklin, Sophia, and Elise. Thank you, Sunniesa. Thank you to my sweet Mama and my late stepdad Jeff, who has been my muse. Thank you to the other special muses with whom I’ve been blessed; you’ve guided me through the writing and recording of this record. Thank you dad, for introducing me to country music. My grandparents, who have all been gifts to me throughout life. My brothers, Brandon, Joe, Derek (the spark that lit this flame), Nick and Brady. My sisters, Brit, Vanessa (Baby Nessa), Jenny, Brooke, Anna and Kylie. My aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews: Dillon, Bre, McKinlee, Taylie, Rigby, Parker and Sarah. Two other incredibly important women in my life who have been inspirational: my honorary second moms Margo and Lea. Thank you Judd, for leading me on those first baby steps of our musical journey (and Lou Diamond Phillips as Ritchie Valens for inspiring both of us to pick up guitars). Thanks, Joey, for playing that rockabilly fun chord combo that I couldn’t help but turn into our age-old co-written song finally making its appearance. And of course my soul brother, Wade Evans, another great contributor to this record. Each one of you have helped shape the better parts of my imperfect self and I love you. Thanks to all the amazing folks who participated in the production of this record from inception to completion. Most of you are listed and credited, but I want to tell you all how sincerely grateful I am for everything you bring to the table and how excellent you’ve made my songs sound. Thank you to the great players who help me take our show live: Michael Brown, Josh Sandbloom, Andrēs Acuna, Ace Otten, Kate Busey and Nate Sletner. Special thanks to all of you who have supported me, promoted me, believed in me, and put your money where your mouths are by buying my music. It is impossible to do this at the level I insist on without you. I promise I’ll never forget you, and I appreciate it more than you can possibly know. Special thanks to Webpro Music and Joanna Finchum for your contributions.
