Gone Troppo loves combining issues and music to reflect political and social concerns, relationships, environmental issues and geographical areas. Gone Troppo is a small collective of Australians who each contribute their skills to every project, including composition, recording and producing, and graphic design. In between projects, they keep at their day jobs, watch or go to the footy (Aussie Rules and soccer), and generally impress their families and friends with their obsessions about Gone Troppo projects and footy. In their spare time, one is a wannabe road cyclist, one is big on walking, another is very occupied with the intricasies of music computer programmes. They are all really past their use-by-dates according to the standards of society, but they find that they're constantly pursuing artistic endeavours and, in fact, can't stop themselves. Gone Troppo are a cool lot, not good-looking or suave, but people worth knowing.
