Connecticut singer/songwriter, Heather Fay started out with the dream of creating the perfect mix tape. Try as she might, the mix was never right- it seemed that a song was always missing. Years later while strumming her guitar she realized that if she wanted to compile the perfect mix tape she'd have to write some of those missing songs herself. And so Heather’s songwriting journey began. Heather dabbles in the singer/songwriter genre and adds in a twist of Americana, Folk/Rock. She doesn't weave tales of far away lands or "what ifs"...she writes of experiences and emotions to which we all can relate. Heather Fay's debut album "Scrape Knee'd Girl" fits like a favorite worn in sweater- it's a cozy, warm and groovy collection of songs about heartbreak and hope, sung by a smooth, golden-honey voiced gal. Most recently, Heather has gained recognition for being one of the first musicians to utilize the Hangouts On Air platform on Google+ to build a global audience for her music. In addition to performing hangout concerts for her 375,000+ followers, Heather also hosts a series of open-mic hangouts, which enable her to build an ever-growing network of musicians from around the globe.
