If you've never regarded the electric bass as a solo instrument, that is about to change... This melody was my musical Galatea. She haunted me for days until I wrote her down. At last I made this recording in June, in the living room, with the late afternoon sun streaming through the open windows. I'm playing my lovely Ibanez four-stringed BTB bass, which is made from solid mahogany with a bubinga belly.
