Inspired by the Gypsies of Southern France, Vincent & Vedant's debut album "We Sing, We Dance" is a original mix of rumba Flamenco and storytelling violin. Recorded LIVE with no overdubs, they seamlessly weave tales of travel, roaring campfires, and an open road. <P> * Vincent Zorn is a gypsy guitarist and world traveler from Santa Barbara, California. After being self-taught from the age of eleven, Vincent later studied in Spain, Turkey, and most recently in Mexico with International Recording Artists The Blonde Gypsies : Latcho & Andrea www.latchoandrea.com. Drawing influence from the gypsies of Southern France, he developed his unique percussive technique that utilizes a diverse array of strumming styles, rhythms, and taps. As a founder and composer of flamenco-dance band Last Caravan, he has toured extensively. He now performs regularly with Vedant www.vincentandvedant.com. Vincent uses Jose Luis Diaz Reyes Flamenco Guitars & Daniel Mari Strings exclusively. <p> * Vedant Koppera is a classically trained violinist under the study of Nan Zhou. He has been playing the violin since he was four years old. Growing up in the suburbs of Chicago he regularly performed at school recitals and competed in local music competitions. He first participated in orchestras through the West Suburban Youth Orchestra, later moving on to join the Chicago Youth Symphony Orchestra. Vedant moved onto chamber music in his college years at The George Washington University, performing in concerts and also special events. Following this, he formed an original indie-rock band, Tieweb, with Eric Bayles and Justin Fazzari. It was through this experience he developed a passion for improvisation. He has travelled the world, and is currently studying at the University of California, Santa Barbara.
