The producer of this gem, Marvin Myrtle, is a Virginia native, and started writing music in 1972. Before this, he played banjo with Salt and Peanuts on a live radio show out of Harrisonburg, Va. A veteran of the country music industry, Marvin gathered some old friends to record some classics, plus a few of his own songs. This album, released in 2002, is the result of those sessions. If you're looking for some little known solid country and blue grass music, this is definitely worth checking out. Their sound is clean, with impressive instrumental work and moving harmonics. Enjoy!
