Frank Montana is an exciting and captivating new Adult Contemporary artist. Montana writes his own material and is a natural performer with a magnetic personality & presence. Frank also performs buoyant interpretations of standards from a variety of eras. Born to entertain, Frank developed his talent at a young age from playing in his father’s band, performing English, Spanish and Italian classics touching emotional chords. Because of this experience Montana developed his songwriting skills and a wide range of vocal ability. It was his father, Camillo Montana, to whom his new album is dedicated, who introduced him to the singers who would later become Montana’s idols. He wrote and produced his own independent CD at the age of 21. The songs dealt with love and relationships. As he developed, his influences progressed to modern R&B, Pop, and Dance. In the past he performed in clubs such as Scopa, Wall Street, CPI’s, Saci, Trilogy, Flanagan’s and the China Club. Frank’s work includes collaborations with Karmadelic, a production outfit that has produced material for Luther Vandross, Deborah Cox, MJ Cole, Ace of Base, K.D. Lang, Jody Watley, and Carly Simon. Their efforts include an instant classic track entitled “Don’t You Lie” which combines a rich vocal, current dance beats mixed with old school freestyle production. Another incredible track is “Baila”, a upbeat romantic track that was a club radio smash. Frank has attracted multiple record label attention but has yet to enter into a meaningful recording agreement. Since 2004 Frank has reverted back to his roots. His new album has an adult contemporary vibe with influences from Elvis Presley, Frank Sinatra, Eric Clapton and Italian classics. Frank brings to the table a warm, engaging voice. This new album is a collaboration of self-penned original tracks as well as Frank’s interpretation of some of the world’s most famous romantic and classic songs.
