This is a collection from me as a songwriter of country/ gospel songs. Country gospel used to be my primary singer/song writing in my early musical years. This is a collection of songs written between 1988 -2011. All songs are written by myself , PG Stølen , except "Promised land" ( Stølen, Rødland,Sund) , "Wildrose" (Stølen,Fjellvang,Eikeland,Rødland) and "See you crying"(Stølen,Fjellvang,Sund). The songs have different recording quality and sound . That's why the recordings stretch for a long period of time. Some of the songs are only stored on cassettes, and the startingpoint isn't the best, but the songs are digitally remastered , so hopefully it works in your ears as well. It's only 3 of the songs from PG Stølen & The Riders of Good News that have been earlier officially released (1989 , from a cassette called "Going to the promised land ") * At this album the first band PG Stølen and the Riders og Good News appear on song nr: 3,7,8,12. (Songs produced by Ben Solheim) *Around 2010 I recorded 3 other country/gospel songs by Thor Einar Ribe as producer and main musician. Includes Arne Vigeland (Steel guitar), Hugo Vimme ( lead guitar) and Arild Hobbesland (Harmony and backing vocals).
