Her voice has been described as everything from Ingrid Michaelson to Adele, but her soulful sound and sassy, sometimes brutally honest lyrics set Sophie apart.  Sophie began performing as part of her high school a cappella group, and could be found singing solo at center court for the state-ranked basketball team’s national anthems. But it was sitting at the piano teaching herself chords where she discovered how prolific she was as a song writer. In 2013, Sophie recorded her first independent studio album, "For a Fella." She currently attends Belmont University in Nashville, where she hopes to be honing her writing, performance and business skills. “Music is my passion, my stress-reliever, my challenge and my joy.” she says, “The more I write and perform, the more I crave to continue.”
