"Out of the Way" is Jamie Adams' first solo album. The 12 song album is a project 10 years in the making, recorded at various times between 2003 and 2013. Heavily influenced by The Beatles, and also influenced by Nine Days, Train, and Del Amitri, among others, the feel of some of those artists may come through in Jamie's music. He views music as a deeply personal thing but a personal thing in which total strangers can share. What one person uses as inspiration for a song can have a completely different, yet completely powerful effect on a total stranger. It is that emotional connection to music that Jamie hopes to share with others in his music.
