For this sophomore effort of country, i wanted to go with a softer approach to the backing trax bringing out the vocals more and create a very emotional effect as the song is quite personal. staying true to myself is always important, however i like alot of styles and try not to be put into any boxes by anyone. This of course is not me singing, but an incredible vocalist from TN hand picked by an associate. I've always known this song is special and I hope you like it, it has my whole heart and soul. have you ever thought one person was your whole reason for living and then to find out they do not feel for you the same way, but they never really say it until they walk with someone else, and your left holding your heart in a bag of goo. you realize you still love them but it was just not meant to be, so you gotta go let them go. well that's what "fly" is all about. I hope it will help all those who need to let someone they love go, and FLY Baby FLY. if it makes you cry....that's a good thing.
