After releasing his first LP on ai records in 2008 we proudly welcome datassette on echoecho. Let´s just say that this is the outcome of an interference of majestic strings, amazing basslines and deeply compounded beats. Besides rocking the dancefloor Mr Davies definitely knows how to draw attention with his craft. These thrilling compositions reach from the hymnic “The Aviatrix” tothe laidback and atmospheric “Micro” and back to the superior and bassheavy “Humans” before ending with the melancholic piece of “Weather Conditions”. Datassette conveys a large variety of influences which create his absolutely outstanding deep sound. In other words he manages to merge the atmosphere of then and the vision of now to transfer the sound onto his own bright level.
