This recording encompasses some of my favorite George Strait songs along with two cover tracks originally recorded by Randy Travis. I wrote my first song (along with Tom Ohmsen) which is the title track, Finish Strong. We did our own arrangements of Desert Skies (The Marshall Tucker Band) and Are You Washed In the Blood. My granddaughter, Emy, sings the intro to Are You Washed In the Blood.

After losing my older brother, Dave, in 2008, I decided to try to leave something behind that would be a positive and encouraging resource for my family. That recording was my first project called "The Big One." After reordering 6 times because of so many requests for the CD from family and friends, we decided to do a second project and make it available for retail sale. This is that project.
