A constant encouragement to the British Methodist Youth Choir has been our audiences' reaction to those times when our music has taken a fresh approach to more traditional texts. A New Dawn is a collection of original, modern settings of familiar hymns alongside new versions of blessings and prayers. These pieces are by no means replacements of, or improvements to, the better-known versions – rather they are intended to reflect new light on the rich heritage of Christian writing.
