Ryan Booker, a singer/songwirter, started his musical journey at the age of 5. His mother decided that he should take piano lessons. From there he continued to grow and mature in his craft. While attending Walther Lutheran High School, Ryan began to exercise his unique creativity as the head of the school’s gospel choir. He soon found himself creating a multi-cultural gospel band. The band accompanied the choir as they traveled singing throughout the city. The gospel choir inspired Ryan to start his own group in 2005, called "Ready 2 Praize". This group was comprised of Christian youth who exemplified an attitude of unrestricted praise and worship to God! Ryan is a graduated of Columbia College Chicago with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Contemporary Urban Popular Music. Embracing the unique style & vision that God had given him for his music, he continued to grow in his craft. During his time at Columbia College, Ryan interned with Grammy Award Winning Producer/ Recording Artist, Donald Lawrence. He was also afforded the opportunity to travel to Mannheim, Germany to participate in an International Band Camp we he performed with musicians from all over the world! Today, Ryan is known for his energetic presentation and eclectic musical style. He is inspired by a variety of artists such as Donald Lawrence, Israel Houghton, Kirk Franklin, Michael Jackson, Dave Matthews, Cold Play, Prince and more! Ryan has shared the stage and opened up for many artists such as Tye Tribbett, J.Moss, Mali Music, 21:03, W.O.W. and many others. He also serves faithfully at his home church. Ryan has a heart for the Kingdom of God and love people of all ages. "Free 2 Worship" is a song written by Ryan and produced by Jamel Kimbrough. This song is dedicated to the redeemed. It is the anthem for those who are declaring their liberty over fear, doubt, failures, mistakes, or any circumstance. For he whom the son sets free is free indeed. "I'M FREE TO WORSHIP YOU!"
